Helping musicians form ensembles.

A meeting point for classical musicians in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Preliminary announcement: Jane Austen Concert, April 2025

We are currently working on a collaboration with the Jane Austen Society of North America, D.C. chapter, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of Austen's birth. Jane was an accomplished pianist and avid concert-goer in London and Bath, and of course music and dancing are central activities for many of the characters in her novels. We are planning a program that will include music that Austen played and would have heard, together with examples of English Country Dancing that the Austen family would have enjoyed at home.

Tentative date: Sunday, 27 April, 2025. Time to be determined.
Alexandria Lyceum, 201 S Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314

Stay tuned for updates!
